Hello World
22 September 2025
wow, i finally finished the site. well, finished it /enough/ anyway. i'll have to go back through, edit some more css, and fix all the little things i find wrong with the site as of right now. it's very satisfying to have made this though; i don't usually follow through on the projects i start, but i guess this was small enough for me to finish to a useable degree.
first off, my reasoning for creating this site.
while the home page gives a decent summary, it is not completely thorough in its detail. there are a number of factors that have led me to pursuing this. yes, having a site where i can easily upload and update my journal is super neat. once the full site is done, i can simply make these logs via html directly, or do it in markdown. very easy. i can also just have full control over every element and aspect of the site. also, pretty easy.
however, there's more to it all in terms of motivation.
i just have a metric shit load of stuff i wanna yell out at the world. this blog will probably get really personal, because i'm not using this for business or a portfolio or anything else. it's just a nice forum to lay out my thoughts.
i've had to grieve a lot in the past couple of days, for various reasons that i'll detail in separate posts. that's really the reason why i made this site. so if i were to perish (in the far distant future, hopefully), i could have my thoughts imprinted on the internet for time immemorial. or at least for as long as neocities stays online.
i don't know how public this will be. i'll just slap it onto my discord or something. more posts coming. if i remember. :p
